Wounded Warrior Carry Forward 5K

Wounded Warrior Carry Forward 5K

I saw this Walk and just had to share it with you all! What a wonderful way to support our troops! You can walk or run it and do it in person or virtually!

The mission at Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is to honor and empower wounded warriors — and Carry Forward is your chance to put that mission in motion at one of the most powerful, one-of-a-kind events you’ll ever experience. It’s a unique opportunity to take action and step up for wounded warriors.

Join the movement and honor those who served and sacrificed for our freedom. Because every step you take will empower wounded warriors as they take on their next mission.

Go Virtual!

WWP Carry Forward 5K 2019 Virtual 5K

The mission at Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is to honor and empower wounded warriors. The Carry Forward Virtual 5K is your chance to put that mission in motion in a powerful, tangible way. It’s a unique opportunity to take action in your community and step up for wounded warriors.

Join the movement and honor those who served and sacrificed for our freedom.

What is a Virtual event?

Recruit your friends, family, and colleagues and stroll, walk, or jog a 5K any day that works with your schedule. Don’t forget to add your activity type. Carry a flag, load up with weights, or carry a member of your squad from start to finish.

When do I do my virtual event?

All virtual events must take place between July 4 and December 15 in order to receive your fundraising incentives and swag items in time. Make sure to add your event date on your registration form and update it on your dashboard if anything changes.

I wanted to share with you all, this wonderful man Ken Brock, Veteran, and service dog taking a 2,650 mile walk to benefit Wounded Warrior Project

You can read more about it on his fundraising page here.

I hope this inspired some of you to get out and walk for a Veteran! Thank you to all Veterans for your service.

Your Walking Friend,
